Our climbing holds are made from flax fiber, a sustainable alternative to traditional synthetic materials. This natural fiber not only provides strength and durability, but also significantly reduces the environmental impact.

The idea for Balance Holds came from spending time outdoors, where the beauty and resilience of natural materials inspired us. We asked ourselves, “Why not create climbing holds that align with nature?” This led us to develop holds made from 60% renewable biomass, reducing the reliance on fossil fuels.
A World-First in Climbing Holds
Our long-term goal is to inspire a new standard in climbing. We want every climber and gym owner to embrace sustainable options. Together, we can keep climbing in balance with nature, one hold at a time.
First Release Coming Soon
By the end of this year, we plan to launch our first full set of flax-based macro holds, marking an exciting milestone in our journey towards more eco-friendly climbing gear.
Spending years on climbing walls and rock sectors all over Europe, the idea of a more balanced solution for climbing holds was born. Experience and knowledge acquired in the professional path, combined with knowledge of the climbing field, allowed the creation of a unique and world-first solution.
After months of adapting technology and developing production, we can eventually share the fruits of our labour. Cooperating with friends from Brussels’ “Le Camp de Base” and experienced route setters, we are now in the testing phase, allowing us to gather invaluable feedback to ensure our products meet the highest standards of performance and sustainability.
Meet us at the Vertical Pro trade fair in Friedrichshafen in November 22 – 23, 2024 and MOF 2024 in Brussels. First orders are expected to be delivered in early 2025.

I’m called jack of all trades, master of… few. I’ve spent more time working in remote areas, climbing with great people, enjoying live than sitting behind a regular desk. And I believe Balance will take me on another great adventure. With experience in countless trades and a passion for problem-solving, I bring an innovative spirit to Balance Holds.

I’m an engineer focused on reducing carbon footprint in the automotive industry. My passion for nature and the outdoors led me to apply the same eco-friendly principles to climbing. Together with Wojciech, we’re committed to making Balance Holds a brand that reflects our values of sustainability and innovation.
